Photoshop Projects

In the process of learning how to use Photoshop, these are the things I made.

First, is this collage thing that could be used on a newsletter, made by combining the ONW Compass logo, he letters ONW, and a background picture of the school itself. This project taught us how to make new layers, change the opacity of objects, and move those objects around.

Second, we took a picture of a butterfly and changed the color of the wings. We also gave it the appearance of movement by copying the wings and making them blurry. This project taught us how to edit pictures' colors and use the clone stamp tool.

The third project involved making text masks and gradients, as well as formatting font. We created a horizontal text mask of the word "NORTHWEST", with the settings on all caps. The gradient was the hardest part for me, because I kept switching to a new layer and it wont work that way.

This is the fourth and final project. This one taught us a lot more mask skills, but this time with image and not text. It also showed us image effects tools like the pixelation you can see on the raven, as well as how to make borders. The masks were pretty difficult to understand, though once I got the hang of it, it was pretty easy.
